Nicolas is an engineer and creative, who found himself forming a strong passion and connection to music after progressively falling victim to a debilitating mystery illness. After years of searching for answers through painstaking investigation and research, Nicolas uncovered that his life has been plagued by a combination of growing physical and psychological ailments, responsible for leaving him continually exhausted, overwhelmed, and debilitated in his everyday life. 

Nicolas battles with an amalgamation of (chronic anxiety, fatigue, depression, and OCD), as a result of complex trauma and genetics; along with the struggle against a large list of psychological ailments stemming from a complicated list of brain related conditions, such as a chronically over-aroused brain, with poor modulation ability. On top of everything, Nicolas suffers with deformities of his nose and jaw, which impede his speaking and breathing ability, amplifying the severity of sleep related conditions, mental health disorders, and social boundaries. With poor social and communication skills, Nicolas suffers alone in silence, while overshadowed by a constant presence of fear and despair, which manifests into hopelessness and suicidal ideation. With chronic health anxiety built from the fear that the neverending struggle can and always will become worse, Nicolas finds himself highly paranoid and delusional, always fearing and expecting the worst possible outcome for every situation he finds himself in, and not knowing at times who to trust or turn to for support. 

Using music to cope with life's struggles, Nicolas built a relationship with the art that is deeply rooted in connecting with others, story telling and healing. Every album Nicolas crafts is centered around a core theme, with each individual song expressing an in-depth experience or characteristic about that chosen theme. Each track is also paired/accompanied with an animation/video Nicolas personally crafts with the intention of building an immersive and engaging experience/artwork.

Looking for new ways to innovate and expand the boundaries of creativity and expression, Nicolas takes an open, experimental approach to music creation by embracing originality, unorthodox practices, and through breaking conventional rules to song structure and key. Overshadowed by constant suffering, Nicolas’ style incorporates a blend of dissonance, key shifts, hybrid keys, and timing changes, to induce and express harsh feelings of dread, hopelessness, and fear, and to build an atmosphere that is ominous, unpredictable, and chaotic. 

Nicolas’ music also has its own personality and unique expressive feel, through the way it embraces and highlights imperfections in performance, in order to build personal, intimate and raw emotional connections with the listener, provide narrative value; and be a symbolic reflection on how life is flawed in design. Heavily oriented towards crafting ambient and haunting soundscapes, Nicolas’ music is associated with being dynamic and emotionally evoking, giving feelings of being lost, alone, and hopeless, with at times having a journey-like expression, or a sinister-like feel.

Nicolas’ music heavily reflects his life's experiences, and expresses his perspectives and views on reality, whether distorted or not. Grateful for having musicians providing him with music that has kept him alive and fighting, Nicolas wishes to give back to the music community, by hopefully having his music do the same. Help others like him in need.

Nic will Neverest and will continue to fight and share with the world a perspective of life that at times goes unnoticed, is hidden from the public, or is rejected and avoided out of fear.
